Meet the Feet

I'm a Brighton-based artist who makes jewellery, likes to sew otters, does the odd bit of textile design and illustration and LOVES taking photos.

Every time I scroll through my iPhoto gallery, I realise I'm often taking pictures of my feet. I still treasure a photo I took in Spain of my hot, dusty, sticking-plaster covered feet in a park in Ronda - which reminds me how it felt to be in that moment more than any other photo I took that day.

So, as an exercise, I decided to see if I could do this for a whole year to capture where I am, what I'm doing, what shoes I'm wearing, what fascinating stuff I've seen on the floor and whether I could make all of these into interesting or beautiful pictures.
